ROBLOX's Trade System

A ROBLOX Staff member quickly tweeted a day or two ago about progress on the ROBLOX trade system. For those who have not heard, the trade system will make it easy to trade different items on ROBLOX. Anyways from this sketch of the trade system you can see what the interface will look like. This interface with include a chat window, offerings, your items, and your trader's items. Since this is only a sketch you can expect the trade system to take a while before it is released. However, it's nice to know there making progress on such a thing. I'm not quite sure what will happend to Limited's and and Limited U's once there is a trade system, and anyone could obtain the 2007 ROBLOX visor for just a trade as well as any other items not for sale. Due to this, I have some mixed emotions for this trade system. However, stay tuned for more information on the trade system!

Red Sparkle Time Fedora

Yes people! Another Sparkle Time Fedora, and this one is my favourite colour. The Red Sparkle Time Fedora hat will definitely be one of my favourites. A nice, sharp, shiny, red, sparkly fedora. Who wouldn't want that?! I find this hat very classy and think that you can make a good profit off of it, if you had the money. However, it is more of a rich man's hat so don't get too excited with the starting price at 10,000 robux and climbing! However, I rate it 9/10 any could only get better if the price was lowered.

ROBLOX Tech Demo: Video Thumbnails

    If you have not heard already, ROBLOX staff did a hack week, which basically means make a lot of ideas realistic, over winter holidays developing new ideas for the game. One of these ideas is "Video Thumbnails". The idea of video thumbnails would be to post 30 second clips to your games for a small sum of ROBUX, this price is not yet to be determined. This way you could have previews, almost like trailers to your games. These clips would be uploaded to ROBLOX or taken from YouTube and would have to be moderated just like images. However, there are some downfalls to this idea by Tim Brown yet the cons aren't as bad as you think. For example, the video clip could host inaccurate information about the places or the video could attack other groups. This could include "Don't join so-and-so group because of inactivity and no care of their members" or "THIS IS ONE EPIC TYCOON" and turns out to be a obby. On the bright side, I believe this could strike up more business for ROBLOXian video makers because people could pay them ROBUX to make these 30 second clips for their places.

Dynamic Lighting Exploration

Simon Kozlov Graphic engineer from Roblox Explores possibility's of Dynamic Lighting. Right now dynamic lighting is only in early development and all you can do is view the landscape. Over at ROBLOX they are also going to try to implement Dynamic Lighting into the iPad for when ROBLOX releases on the tablet market. Tell me what you think in the comments bellow if you like these graphics or ROBLOX's classic graphics. In my opinions they look quite stunning, but it's going to be hard to let go of the old one.
